About Davis Tate Didcot
We have taken the decision in these uncertain times to close our offices to visitors in order to protect our staff that are not yet working remotely from home and you, our customers.
Rest assured, that apart from this measure, it is very much “business as usual”. We have put in place measures to be able to safely showcase properties for sale and rent and carry out valuations. We will also still be managing properties for our landlords and tenants. Please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or by email. We are still here to help.
Davis Tate estate agents in Didcot is situated in a prime location in the centre of town at 108 Broadway, just a moments’ walk from the new Orchard Centre shopping and cinema complex. Our Didcot branch covers the postcode areas of OX11 & OX14, and also covers the surrounding villages of Appleford, Blewbury, Chilton, Harwell, Long Wittenham, Milton and The Hagbournes.
There is strong demand for landlords in the town as many tenants are attracted by Didcot Parkway train station which provides fast trains to both Reading and London Paddington in 11 minutes and 44 minutes respectively. This makes apartments in the town centre very popular.
The town is also surrounded by one of the largest scientific clusters in the UK; Milton Park, Culham Science Centre and Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, which again attracts many professionals and their families to the area.
For these families, the area is well served with superb local schools including Didcot Girls School, St Birinus and then UTC Oxfordshire for further education. There are several large parks, woods and play areas in and around the town as well as the Mowbray Fields nature reserve. The UK government named Didcot as a “garden town” in 2015, the first town to gain this status, providing funding to support sustainable and environmentally-friendly town development over the coming 15 years.
