Running our busy Lettings team from the sales offices to property management and administration is no easy task. With ever changing legislation, having to work around the various restrictions of the last year whilst protecting the interest of our landlords, our new lettings director; Martin Hembra is a busy man!
The last few years have seen a multitude of changes to the private rented sector including the Tenant Fee Act 2019 introduced changes including Deposit caps and the more recent Electrical Safety in the Private Rented Sector 2020. Ensuring we fully understand the latest legislation, adapt our processes and then teach this legislation within the company is a key part of his role.
Martin started in the property industry in 1997 as a fresh faced lettings negotiator in a large independent estate agency. He stayed for 17 years after which he joined one of the country’s leading corporate estate agents to further his knowledge.
Martin has spent some time recently in and around the lettings industry furthering his knowledge before joining Davis Tate as a lettings director. Martin will be working alongside Claire Tier, Brand Ambassador and Bruce Vickery, Operations and Compliance Director in the Davis Tate senior management team.
Martin says: "Davis Tate offer their customers a modern approach to estate agency with a caring nature and the backing of a large corporate estate agency with LSL Property Services"
Outside of his working hours, Martin enjoys football, exercise and spending time with friends and family whilst balancing family life.
