Background

About Abingdon
As one of the oldest Towns in the UK, Abingdon is steeped in history. Its most famous landmark, the Abbey, was founded in Saxon times and was once used by William the Conqueror, whose son was educated there. More recently the town has played host to a number of multinational companies, with many based in the towns business & science parks.
